Drawing on the rich cultural history of the Roma people and her interest in mythologies, the artist addressed themes of death, loss and renewal, inspired by the passing of her grandmother.




She has divided her exhibition space into three connected sections, Chaos, Reflection and Ascension.
The artist transformed her room into an immersive environment when her grandmother became ill, She began working on the piece. and the space as a whole illustrates the state of her life at that time. Drawing on her interest in the rich cultural history and mythology of the Roma people, and inspired by the death of her grandmother, she explores themes of death, loss and rebirth.
These rituals make me think of graves, the dead, funerals. The whole space I was in is very scary and difficult, and the work has a powerful energy and tension that allows the viewer to directly experience the artist’s heartbreak, fear, and chaotic energy. Pictures do not show 1%.
